Q: What is a zine?
A: Zines are similar to shortened magazines and are filled with art and writing. This zine will include fan-made illustrations and fiction about Genshin Impact characters as figure skaters. This zine is made by fans, for fans; we are no way affiliated with HoYoverse, nor does HoYoverse endorse this project.Q: What are photocards?
A: Photocards are cards which feature an exclusive image of a character on one side, and the character's signature on the other. In this zine, a full set will include 9 individual photocards featuring different characters. The featured characters will be determined by our interest check.Q: Will there be ships in this zine?
No, this zine will be ship free. Any depictions of characters interacting, such as through pair skating, will be strictly platonic.Q: What are the specs of this zine?
A: This information will be determined based on the responses to the zine's interest check, however it is planned to be an A5 zine with 80-100 pages.Q: Will there be merchandise?
A: Yes, there will be merchandise which can be purchased as a bundle with the zine. The types of merchandise will be determined by the zine's interest check.Q: Which characters will be included?
A: We are planning on including 15-20 distinct characters in this zine. The specific characters will be determined by our interest check.Q: Is this zine for-profit?
A: At this time, Winged Lutz is planned to be a for-charity zine, but this is subject to change based on interest check responses. The interest check will also help determine which charity we will be donating should we proceed with being for-charity.Q: How will contributors be compensated?
A: All contributors will be guaranteed a complimentary digital copy of the zine and the photocards. Should profits allow it, all contributors will also receive a full bundle of the zine, photocards, and merch. If we decided to go for-profit, contributors will also get a percentage of any remaining profits.Q: Will you be taking guest suggestions?
A: Yes, there will be an option for you to leave the names of artists and writers you would like us to invite as guests on our interest check! Keep an eye out for it :)
